Salamun alaykum.
Ziyarat is a journey of the body, but its deepest purpose is the journey of the heart. We travel toward the sacred places carrying our worries, weaknesses, sins, hopes, and duas. We should try to return with greater love for Allah, stronger loyalty to the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.), improved character, and a more serious connection with Imam al-Zaman (a.s.).
Package 300 is a suggested daily spiritual programme of approximately 300 minutes, or five hours. It combines Quran recitation, Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, munajat, Ziyarat, salah, special duas, masaib, and personal reflection.
This is a voluntary personal plan, not a religious obligation. Every Zaeer should adjust it according to health, age, family responsibilities, group arrangements, travel conditions, and energy levels.
The most important principle: understand what you recite
The purpose of this programme is not to finish the largest number of pages. The real aim is to understand what we are saying to Allah.
Whenever possible, read the translation before or alongside the Arabic. Pause after important passages. Ask yourself what the dua is teaching you about repentance, gratitude, patience, reliance upon Allah, love of the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.), good character, and preparation for the Hereafter.
A dua should not remain only on the tongue. It should enter the heart and influence the way we speak, behave, forgive, serve, and make decisions.
The Package 300 daily schedule
-
Quran: two paras — approximately 90 minutes
Read two paras daily at a calm and manageable pace. Read the translation of selected verses where possible, and pause when a verse speaks directly to your condition.
-
Al-Sahifa al-Kamilah al-Sajjadiyya: four duas with translation — approximately 50 minutes
Do not read only to complete four duas. Read the translation carefully and identify at least one lesson to practise during the day.
-
Al-Munajat al-Khams Ashar: one munajat — approximately 10 minutes
Choose one of the Fifteen Whispered Prayers and read it slowly. Allow its words to guide your private conversation with Allah.

Ziyarat Ashura — approximately 10 minutes
Recite with attention to loyalty, rejection of injustice, and commitment to the path of Imam Husayn (a.s.).
-
Dua Tawassul — approximately 5 minutes

Ziyarat Aale Yasin — approximately 5 minutes

-
Dua Ahad — approximately 5 minutes
Renew your covenant and make dua for the safety and reappearance of Imam al-Zaman (a.s.).
-
Salat al-Ghufayla — approximately 5 minutes
Perform this two-rakah prayer between Maghrib and Isha according to the instructions and religious guidance you follow.
-
Salat al-Layl or Namaz Shab — approximately 20 minutes
Wake before Fajr when possible. Keep the prayer manageable and sincere rather than making it so difficult that you cannot continue consistently.
-
One special dua, Ziyarat, or salah — approximately 45 minutes
Select one item from the separate list below. Read its translation and identify its central message.
-
Four masaib clips — approximately 50 minutes
Listen to four suitable clips from the Masaib.org YouTube channel. Listen respectfully, use headphones in shared spaces, and avoid disturbing resting zuwwar.
Total suggested time: approximately 300 minutes each day.
Special duas and Ziyarat: choose one each day
Each dua, Ziyarat, and salah is listed separately so that you can select one clearly. Some may take longer than 45 minutes. Adjust the rest of the programme when necessary.

Use the Names of Allah to deepen your duas
Many supplications call upon Allah through His beautiful Names and qualities. Learning their meanings can transform the way you read duas. Instead of repeating a Name without awareness, understand what it teaches you about Allah and what response it should create in your heart.
For offline reading and reflection on Al-Asma ul-Husna, install the app before travelling:
- Android: Download Al Asma ul Husna from Google Play
- iPhone and iPad: Download Al Asma ul Husna from the App Store
Choose one Name of Allah each day. Read its meaning, think about how it appears in the duas, and call upon Allah with greater understanding.
A possible way to divide the five hours
- Before or after Fajr: Salat al-Layl, Dua Ahad, Quran, and one munajat.
- During travel or quiet rest: Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya with translation and selected masaib clips.
- Before entering the haram: Read the translation of the Ziyarat you intend to recite.
- Inside or near the haram: Recite the Ziyarat calmly and avoid rushing only to finish.
- Between Maghrib and Isha: Salat al-Ghufayla.
- After Maghrib and Isha: Dua Tawassul and the selected special dua.
- Before sleeping: Review one lesson from the day's recitations.
How to turn recitation into transformation
At the end of each dua, write down or remember three short points:
- What did this dua teach me about Allah?
- What weakness in myself did this dua reveal?
- What action will I change today?
After reading Dua Makarim al-Akhlaq, you may choose to control anger. After Dua Abu Hamza al-Thumali, you may make sincere repentance. After Dua Nudba, you may ask how your daily life shows loyalty to Imam al-Zaman (a.s.). After reading Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, you may improve your treatment of parents, companions, or people in need.
Understanding the translation should lead to action. A dua about patience should make us more patient. A dua about forgiveness should make us more willing to forgive. A dua about dependence upon Allah should reduce our arrogance and increase our trust in Him.
How to use the masaib listening period
The masaib target is not only about completing four clips. Listen to remember the sacrifices of Imam Husayn (a.s.), his family, and his companions, and to consider what loyalty to Karbala requires from you.
Select suitable clips from the Masaib.org YouTube channel.
- Select four clips with a combined length of approximately 50 minutes.
- Prepare a playlist before travelling.
- Use headphones in transport and shared accommodation.
- Do not disturb people who are sleeping, praying, or resting.
- Listen at a time when you can remain respectful and attentive.
- Pause after listening and make dua instead of immediately scrolling to other content.
Do not allow the schedule to create pride
A person may complete every recitation and still lose the spirit of Ziyarat through impatience, anger, harshness, pride, or neglect of others.
If your worship is increasing but your behaviour toward companions is becoming worse, stop and review your intention.
Helping an elderly Zaeer, caring for a child, guiding someone who is lost, giving water, carrying a bag, or allowing another person to rest may sometimes take priority over completing a voluntary recitation at that exact moment.
The teachings found in the duas should appear in your conduct.
A lighter plan for difficult days
Heat, illness, walking fatigue, crowded transport, family responsibilities, and lack of sleep may make the full plan difficult. On such days, follow a lighter version.
- Read one para of Quran with selected translation.
- Read one dua from Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya with translation.
- Read one short munajat.
- Recite Ziyarat Ashura, Ziyarat Waritha, or Ziyarat Aale Yasin.
- Recite Dua Ahad.
- Listen to one suitable masaib clip.
- Read the translation of one special dua without rushing to complete the full Arabic text.
- Perform Salat al-Layl in the manageable form you normally follow.
The goal is istiqama and sincerity, not exhaustion. Protect your health, rest when required, and do not continue a demanding routine if you become seriously unwell.
What may be completed during a fifteen-day journey?
If two paras of Quran are read daily for fifteen days, the complete Quran may be recited. A consistent programme may also allow a Zaeer to read a large portion of Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, experience many important duas and Ziyarat texts, maintain Salat al-Layl, and listen to approximately sixty masaib clips.
These are useful targets, but they are not the final measure of success.
The real questions are: Did the Quran guide you? Did the duas humble you? Did the masaib awaken you? Did Ziyarat strengthen your loyalty? Did your character improve?

- Install the Al Asma ul Husna app for offline access.
- Prepare a masaib playlist before travelling.
- Carry earphones and a charged power bank.
- Keep a written daily checklist.

Practical Package 300 checklist
- Divide the 300 minutes across the day.
- Read translations instead of reciting without understanding.
- Write one lesson from each major dua.
- Choose one action to improve every day.
- Keep all important material available offline.
- Use headphones respectfully in shared spaces.
- Reduce the schedule when health or travel conditions require it.
- Do not neglect family members, companions, or zuwwar needing help.
- Do not compare your worship with the worship of others.
- End each day with repentance, gratitude, and dua for Imam al-Zaman (a.s.).
Package 300 should not leave us merely with a completed checklist. It should leave us with a softer heart, a more disciplined life, a stronger relationship with Allah, deeper love for Imam Husayn (a.s.), and a sincere desire to become useful to Imam al-Zaman (a.s.).
May Allah accept every recitation, every step, every tear, every act of service, and every sincere effort made during Ziyarat.
